The Rise of Digital Body Language in Sales and Marketing

Digital body language is a buzzword in the display advertising industry that has been around for some time yet may not be recognized by many companies as a way to gain competitive advantage and win more business. Digital body language is all the digital activity that companies see from their customers; web site visits, emails that are opened, downloads, referrals from social media, searchers on Google and webinars that are attended are parts of the digital body language of customers and prospects. In the same way that a salesperson can read the body language of their prospects and customers in a face-to-face situation, so can companies identify their digital touch points and use these cues to identify their intentions to salespeople.
